BPM Partner Jackie Matsumura joined CREW East Bay’s Board of Directors in 2020 and brings with her over 25 years of public accounting experience and her expertise working with major commercial real estate clients on tax strategy.
BPM is a longtime supporter and sponsor of CREW East Bay, a branch of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Network, which has over 12,000 members in more than 75 markets.
Jackie co-leads BPM’s Real Estate Industry Group, which serves as a “one-stop shop” accounting, tax and consulting services to those in the real estate industry, such as investors, developers, managers, REITs, and family-owned real estate enterprises.
She also serves as one of the Firm’s Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs) specialists, as she has spent the past few years helping investors and developers navigate the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and the updated guidance that has been released since then.
Jackie spoke at a CREW East Bay luncheon in 2019 on Qualified Opportunity Zones and the benefits for developers.
