Theresa Smith

Theresa Smith has nearly two decades of public accounting experience, which she uses to support BPM’s Tax team based out of the San Jose office.

As a Director in BPM’s Private Client Services group, Theresa supports high net worth clients, as well as assists closely held businesses and their owners with tax planning and compliance.

Theresa’s background includes supporting clients with tax returns, accounting assistance, tax provisions, federal and multistate tax compliance. She also supports clients with managing and reviewing financial statements for closely held entities, as well as preparing and coordinating IRS/FTB audit information.

As a South Bay native, Theresa has spent her entire public accounting career supporting clients who live and operate near Silicon Valley and understands the complexities and niches that come with the territory.

Theresa Smith holds an active CPA license in California.
