Tad Gebeyehu is a Director in BPM’s Tax practice, helping clients of various sizes and across various industries with their multi-state sales tax needs. With more than 13 years of experience in state and local tax (SALT) matters, including time spent in the Big Four, Tad brings together his strong technical skills with a commitment to listening to clients closely to deliver optimal results.
Examples of projects Tad has led include assisting a taxpayer with a Wisconsin sales tax audit to help reduce a tax assessment by several hundred thousand dollars, helping a taxpayer achieve Minnesota Data Center Certification to help recover hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales tax, and assisting a taxpayer in determining nexus and sales tax exposure in more than 30 states, including assisting with the creation of voluntary disclosure agreements (VDAs) in relevant states as well as registration in all 30+.
Interesting Tidbit
Tad is an avid soccer (or “football” as the rest of the world call it) fan and was present when David Beckham played his first game at the Metrodome in Minneapolis in 2007.
