Firuza Vadiwala

Firuza is a Director on BPM’s Corporate Tax team who works with startup, private, pre-IPO companies and public companies. She has over 10 years of corporate tax experience in the Technology and Life Science industries, specifically in the biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, software and manufacturing sectors.

Firuza has extensive experience with tax provisions and a variety of tax compliance matters, including domestic tax filings, multistate income tax, as well as federal and state credit incentives. She works with clients to support tax services for public and private companies, including those with multi-state and international operations. Firuza is also involved and responsible for reviewing, overseeing and/or coordinating the work of specialty tax practices for her clients, such as state and local tax, mergers and acquisition impact to the provision, due diligence requirements, stock-based compensation and Sec 382 studies to determine limitations on tax.

In addition to serving her clients, Firuza is passionate about developing and mentoring staff on the tax team at BPM.

Firuza Vadiwala holds an active CPA license in California.
