Cecilia is a Tax Manager at BPM with over 15 years of experience in tax and accounting. She has experience in tax planning and consulting, monitoring and ensuring tax compliance for privately held companies and working with privately held trusts and high-net-worth families and their associated entities.

Cecilia has provided clients with tax and advisory services over the years, allowing her to understand the client’s accounting challenges from different angles fully. She is strong at reviewing client financials and finding areas for improvement or errors. She works closely with her clients to understand their financial goals and transactions as they occur so that she can provide them with proper tax planning advice.

Recently, Cecilia identified improper treatment from a Passthrough entity that was not prepared in-house. Her clear understanding of the effect the transaction would have at the individual level to her client allowed her to identify the error quickly. She collaborated with the client, assigned partner and another firm to provide accurate accounting and tax allocation, resulting in the client generating additional savings.
