We are honored to announce that BPM has received the 2024 Diversity in Business Award from the North Bay Business Journal. This recognition celebrates the Firm’s exceptional dedication to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace in the San Francisco North Bay – and beyond – where colleagues feel like they belong.

BPM’s commitment to diversity is evident in its comprehensive approach, which includes eight Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs), a robust Inclusion Now! (IN!) Committee and ongoing initiatives to promote equity and belonging throughout the Firm.

“At BPM, we believe that diversity is not just a goal, but a fundamental part of our success,” says Lindsay Stevenson, Chief Transformation Officer and IN! Committee Chair at BPM. “We strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, seen and heard, and we appreciate the North Bay Business Journal for acknowledging the value and importance of diversity in business.”

BPM also recently announced it has been recognized again on the Accounting MOVE Project’s list of “Best CPA Firms for Women” and as one of the “Best Firms for Equity Leadership.”

“This award reinforces the importance of our ongoing efforts to create a diverse and inclusive workplace,” says Sarah A. Lynn, a BPM Advisory Partner in the North Bay and Executive Sponsor of BPM’s LGBTQIA+ Colleague Resource Group. “Our Colleague Resource Groups play a crucial role in fostering understanding, providing support and driving positive change within BPM and our broader community.”

BPM’s commitment to diversity extends beyond its internal practices. The Firm actively engages with local communities through various outreach programs, including educational and charitable activities. During its annual BPM Community Month, colleagues participate in volunteer projects that benefit diverse organizations across the North Bay and beyond.
