Matt is a Senior Manager in BPM’s Advisory practice with more than 15 years of experience. Matt can be found providing professional valuation advisory services, performing due diligence, financial analyses, and valuations of corporate securities and partnership interests, with an emphasis on private and closely held companies. He has a range of experience, including providing valuation advisory services for shareholder disputes, civil, matrimonial, and commercial litigation, estate, gift, and income tax, management planning, fairness opinions, corporate transactions, and financial reporting.
Recently, Matt has served in a variety of different Advisory capacities, including acting an expert witness in a matrimonial divorce legal case by reviewing and critiquing the opposing valuation expert’s report and providing skepticism of the valuation methodologies employed. Matt has also served as an expert in assisting in shareholder oppression claims, as well as in estate tax valuation cases.
Interesting Tidbit
Matt is a passionate UT Longhorn and (non-cheating) Houston Astros fan and spends his time outside of work raising a pack of future Longhorns.
