North Bay Business Journal recognizes Sarah for outstanding leadership in diversity

Sarah A. Lynn, a Partner in BPM’s Advisory practice, has been honored with the 2023 Diversity in Business Award from North Bay Business Journal.

The award recognizes the region’s most outstanding diverse leaders in the North Bay area of California, who empower the community and create a positive impact through their work.

Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s Fairfield office and member of the Firm’s Board of Directors, Sarah is a digital transformation specialist with over 30 years of advisory experience in IT security and compliance. She has worked at numerous high-tech firms, including Cisco, WebEx and IBM.

“We are extremely proud of Sarah and the leadership she provides not only to BPM, but to the entire North Bay community,” says Michelle Muth Ausburn, BPM North Bay Partner-in-Charge. “We believe that our colleagues are always our greatest differentiator, bringing diverse perspectives to our clients, colleagues and communities. Sarah is a widely respected trailblazer in our community who is certainly deserving of this recognition.”

Beyond Sarah’s day-to-day role, she is influential in BPM leadership. In addition to her role on the Board of Directors, she serves as an Executive Sponsor of BPM’s LGBTQIA+ Colleague Resource Group and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Firm’s Inclusion Now! (IN!) initiative.

“I am extremely honored and humbled to receive this award and proud of everything we do at BPM to enhance the diversity of our profession, while bringing our whole selves to work!” says Sarah. “Every step we take is essential to progress for the broader community, and hopefully, the world.”

Sarah was honored at a ceremony on October 25 in Santa Rosa, Calif.
