Cheryl Richards

Cheryl has over 17 years of Human Resources experience and specializes in leading and project managing HR management system (HRMS) implementations and optimizations, as well as PEO transitions.  

Before BPM, Cheryl held various positions in Human Resources and HR Systems, such as HR Manager, HR Administrator, HRIS Analyst, and HR Implementation Manager. Her experience spans both large and small organizations across different industries. At times, she has taken on the responsibility of being the sole member of the HR department and played a key role in building the HR department from scratch. 

Today, she supports clients in implementing and optimizing HR systems, leveraging her HR expertise. She has hands-on experience with various HR/Payroll systems, including UKG Ready, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, Rippling, UKG Pro, HiBob, Paycom, and several other HR and benefits software solutions. Given her comprehensive HR background, she is crucial in leading discovery and design sessions for clients. This involves effectively identifying their requirements and developing project management plans that consider both the clients’ needs and the practical use of the system by HR professionals.  

She possesses expertise in implementing and optimizing a wide range of HR system solutions, covering payroll, time and attendance, time-off accruals, applicant tracking and recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits management and enrollment, performance development and performance management, compensation, employee engagement, general ledger, expense reporting, and integrations.   

She enjoys strategically overseeing and managing intricate, multi-consultant projects, resolving challenging problems for clients, and employing creative thinking to streamline processes through systems. She takes pride in cultivating strong relationships with clients and transforming into a trusted advisor who understands their current position and adjusts to their evolving needs.
