Nihar Shah

Nihar an Assurance Senior Manager based in BPM’s San Jose. He has over 11 years of experience in public accounting and works with both public and privately held companies.

He primarily services clients in the financial services industry, including insurance, banking, asset management and fintech. He supports these clients with an array of Assurance services, including audits and reviews, financial reporting (U.S. GAAP, IFRS, ASPE), SEC reporting and compliance, IPOs, as well as instruments and transactions.

Prior to joining BPM, Nihar worked for multiple Big 4 accounting firms in Canada and the U.S. where he provided assurance and consulting services to his clients.

Throughout his career, Nihar has prioritized critical thinking, time and project management, and analytical, quality work when engaging with clients and companies of all sizes.

Nihar’s values align deeply with BPM’s Because People Matter brand promise. He volunteers at the Bay Area chapter of SR Love and Care (SRLC), a nonprofit organization where he is heavily involved with planning local volunteer efforts including serving the local community, food and clothing drives, highway clean-ups and more.

Nihar Shah holds an active CPA license in California and a Chartered Professional Accountant license Ontario, Canada.
