“Jamie brings a special combination of deep client relationships, proven leadership, and a clear view of where our profession is headed,” said Nick Steiner, CEO of BPM. “He understands that great service happens when innovative tools and talented people come together. I’m confident he is the right leader to guide our Assurance practice into its next chapter.”

BPM’s Assurance practice serves organizations of every size, from multinational public companies to local nonprofits. The team pairs clients with auditors who know their industry’s standards, so clients understand where their business stands today and can move forward with confidence. “I’m honored to lead a practice built on quality, integrity, and genuine care for our colleagues and clients,” Emerson-Heery said. “Brian and our Partners have built a strong foundation, and I look forward to working with everyone to bring even more value, insight, and innovation to the clients we serve.”

Jamie grew up in Sonoma County and remains deeply connected to his local community. He serves on the Audit/Finance and Governance committees of Ceres Community Project, where he previously spent six years on the Board, including a two-year term as Board Chair.
