Sven Jost, Ph.D.

Sven is a passionate economist and BPM’s Data Analytics Leader and Transfer Pricing Leader. He is an ambitious, proven leader with over 17 years of professional experience, both in-house and in public accounting. When serving his clients, Sven believes in a pragmatic, data-driven, hands-on approach, taking into consideration the business and operational needs of his clients and their stakeholders.

Transfer Pricing
Sven specializes in transfer pricing planning, documentation and implementation, value chain analyses, intellectual property and legal entity valuation, as well as tax controversy. His experience in operationalizing transfer pricing policies allows him to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders in developing, implementing and refining transfer pricing strategies.

Data Analytics
Sven is a Ph.D. economist with in-depth knowledge of economic concepts and comprehensive financial chains. He specializes in combining economic and statistical concepts with traditional (financial or tax) analyses to provide value-added, data-driven business intelligence, including, but not limited to, data analytics, dashboarding and reporting, predictive analytics / AI, market assessments, workflow automation (Python), ETL along with data migration and transformation.
Sven received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Innsbruck in Austria. He also has a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Munich in Germany.

Sven has published several articles in transfer pricing, economics and related fields, and he regularly speaks at seminars throughout the U.S. and abroad, including the annual NABE Transfer Pricing Symposium in Washington, D.C. and the Tax Executive Institute.
