Ryan has over 15 years of public accounting experience, serving both public and private companies in a variety of industries. He is well-versed in the financial services, FinTech, blockchain, and crypto industries and is a leader in these industry groups.
Within financial services, Ryan serves lenders, marketplace lenders, investment funds, registered investment advisors (RIAs), and broker-dealers. With over a decade of experience serving clients in the blockchain and crypto industry, Ryan has significant experience working with exchanges, custodians, token issuers, crypto payment platforms and protocols, investment funds, miners, and GameFi. Having spent his career in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ryan also has significant experience serving the tech industry.
Ryan also provides audit and consultation services on all employee benefit plans and leads BPM’s Employee Benefit Plan Industry Group.
Ryan specializes in all aspects of revenue recognition, consolidation, business combinations, accounting for stock-based compensation, and SEC reporting.
