Kristen Oshiro has over 10 years of accounting experience and is a Senior Manager in BPM’s Data Analytics practice. Before BPM, she worked as an auditor for five years in Los Angeles and helped primarily nonprofit and private company clients.
Kristen joined BPM’s Business Enterprise Services Team (BEST) in November 2015 as a member of the Business Enterprise Services Team (BEST) and has helped a wide range of clients, primarily nonprofits with performing month end closes, audit readiness and systems implementations.
After working for seven years in the BEST group, she transitioned to BPM’s Data Analytics practice where she applies her accounting background to create financial and operational dashboards for clients as well as managing various data migration projects ranging from financial systems migrations to payroll software migrations. Leveraging her knowledge from BEST, she helps clients streamline and automate manual processes, which allows them more time to focus on their business.
She takes pride in her ability to form close relationships with clients and to be one of the first people they turn to answer any business questions.
Kristen Oshiro holds an active CPA license in California.
Kristen was a resident assistant at Santa Clara University as well as an active member in the Multicultural Center. She received 80 free shirts from her four years there and made a queen-sized t-shirt quilt from those shirts.
