Lawrence(Larry) Salus, CPA, JD

Lawrence has served clients for over 30 years in the Chicago area, across the U.S. and abroad. He has held both consulting roles with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, as well as advised corporate taxpayers as member of the internal tax and accounting team for several companies, both private and publicly traded. He has experience with due diligence and structuring complex acquisitions utilizing numerous entity types, including S corporations, C corporations and partnerships. He has engaged structuring acquisitions and dispositions, to recognize and preserve tax attributes, defer taxable gain for sellers and enable acquirers to make tax-efficient acquisitions, from both an operations and future dispositions standpoint.

In his role as a team member representing various Fortune 500 and private companies, Lawrence has designed and managed international and domestic restructurings, advised clients on the in the areas of Tax Accounting, including tax provision, asset and liability recognition and reporting of uncertain tax positions. He has represented taxpayers in Federal and state tax audit matters, both at the exam and Appellate levels.

Lawrence holds an active CPA license, and holds a license to practice law, in Illinois.
