As a member of BPM’s Technical Accounting Group, Greg provides expertise and assistance with complex accounting projects. He has over 16 years of accounting experience and helps clients with everything from GAAP analysis of complex transactions (i.e., business combinations, debt arrangements, internally developed software, equity transactions, SPAC), to full implementations of accounting standards (i.e. ASC 606, ASC 842).

Additionally, Greg specializes in assisting clients with understanding and complying with reporting requirements by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the SEC (i.e., S-1, S-4, 10K, 10Q). He also supports companies of all sizes with complex transactions, audit preparation, IPO readiness, SPAC transactions, business combinations and ASC implementations.

Previously, Greg prepared audit-ready financial statements in accordance with AICPA SSARS 70 Standards for an AI Company. The project included ASC 340 and ASC 606 implementations with supporting schedules. Additionally, he analyzed all equity arrangements and provided accounting roadmaps with proper accounting treatment and related adjustments.
He also supported a multinational software company with ASC 606 and ASC 842 implementation memos with supporting schedules.

Greg commonly works with companies in the crypto space. In the past, he helped provide accounting roadmaps with adjusting entries for a crypto-based company in the following areas: preferred stock, warrant, SAFES, leases, token awards and consolidations of multiple entities over the world.

Greg holds an active CPA license in California under the name Gregory Douglas Brockert.
