BPM Partner Tony Gales named to LA Business Journal’s Minority CPAs list

Congratulations to BPM Partner Tony Gales for being named to the Los Angeles Business Journal‘s 2025 Leaders of Influence: Minority CPAs list! 

The annual list recognizes outstanding diverse accounting professionals who have demonstrated excellence in their field while making significant contributions to the Los Angeles business community. 

“This recognition reflects the incredible work our team does every day to provide quality service to our clients and community,” Tony said. “I’m honored to be included among such talented professionals and grateful to BPM for fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and championed.” 

Tony supports tax clients out of BPM’s Long Beach office and has over 30 years of experience advising clients across industries including technology, real estate, life science, and nonprofit organizations. Since joining the Firm in 2020, his leadership has been instrumental in expanding BPM’s presence in Southern California. Additionally, he’s the Executive Sponsor of BPM’s Black Colleague Resource Group and uses his experience and skill in mentoring students from underrepresented groups grow within the accounting profession. 

A Board Member at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Youth Foundation, Precious Lamb Preschool, and the Long Beach Rotary Scholarship Foundation, Tony’s presence is felt just as much outside BPM, in the community where he lives and works.
