Firm makes 16th consecutive appearance on annual list
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2021 — BPM LLP, one of the 50 largest public accounting and advisory firms in the country, has been named to the North Bay Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” list for the 16th consecutive year.
The annual “Best Places to Work” list recognizes exceptional employers in the North Bay and highlights best workplace practices. BPM is one of a select few companies to make the list every year since the North Bay Business Journal began the award program. Winners will be celebrated during a Sept. 15 event at the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa.
“We are honored to receive this distinction once again because we take great pride in cultivating a culture that supports and encourages all employees,” said Michelle Ausburn, Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s North Bay offices. “All of us at BPM, from the top down, understand the importance of a strong workplace culture, and we remain committed to promoting a welcoming, safe and productive workplace for all – and that’s true whether we’re all in one regional office or distributed across the country.”
Continuing its banner year as the Firm of Choice for clients and colleagues, BPM and its team members have tallied an impressive number of awards in the business and accounting sectors. In 2021 alone, BPM has been listed among Accounting Today’s Top 10 Firms in the West and recognized as a ClearlyRated 2021 Best of Accounting Award winner for the sixth consecutive year based on its client service excellence.
BPM is also ranked among Forbes’ Best Tax and Accounting Firms for 2021, the second year it has been acknowledged as such. Additionally, Tax Supervisor Annie Azevedo was selected for the North Bay Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” awards and Tax Partner Tony Gales was named among the most influential minority accountants by the Los Angeles Business Journal, confirming the talent under the BPM banner across California and the nation.
These outstanding achievements continue to underscore BPM’s commitment to its people and to fostering a diverse and inclusive business environment in accordance with its “Because People Matter” brand promise.
