SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – BPM LLP, one of the 50 largest public accounting and advisory firms in the country, has been named to the 2019 Vault Accounting 50, a ranking of the best accounting firms to work for in North America.
This year, the rankings were based on a survey of more than 8,800 accountants who were asked to rate their firms in several workplace categories, including compensation, culture, training, work/life balance, hours, and business outlook. They were also asked to rate other firms in terms of prestige.
“We work hard and take care of our people to make sure they are happy at work and in life,” commented BPM Chief People Officer, Beth Baldwin. “This recognition is important because it also highlights our strategic efforts around flexibility, organic growth, diversity, and inclusion. We’ve made great strides through our Women’s Initiative Now (WIN) Program – 40% of our Management Committee is comprised of women.”
Vault recognized BPM as the number one accounting firm for women and the second best accounting firm for promotion policies.
In addition to the Vault rankings, BPM has been named a “Best Place to Work” by the Business Times over the last seven years and has been recognized as a “Best Public Accounting Firm for Women” by the Accounting Move Project for three consecutive years.
