Growth and leadership remain priorities for the top 50 firm

SAN FRANCISCO–BPM LLP, one of the 50 largest public accounting and advisory firms in the country, announced today that Dmitri Alexeev, Mark Li and Shannon Winter have been elected into the Firm’s partnership. The announcement tops off a major year of growth for BPM, which recently expanded its presence to Southern California by combining with Orange County-based CPA firm, Kramer & Olsen Accountancy Corporation.

“These partners exemplify the attributes and competencies we look for in our leaders, including client service, people development, firm stewardship and financial success,” said BPM CEO Jim Wallace. “We are proud to acknowledge each of these individuals – each lives our values to the fullest.”

Alexeev’s practice focuses on corporate clients in the financial services, technology and life sciences sectors. He is currently advising emerging growth companies on matters relating to tax structuring as well as the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on tax planning and financial reporting.

Li represents early-stage and venture-backed companies across the technology and fintech markets. Specifically, Li focuses his attention on the Firm’s nationally-recognized Blockchain and Digital Assets practice. A specialty practice he and Alexeev co-lead, the practice has grown to represent 20 percent of Forbes’ FinTech 50 list and has seen its revenues increase by 300 percent since its inception.

Winter joined BPM nearly 12 years ago and has played a pivotal role in the expansion of the Firm’s Nonprofit industry group. She works closely with both for-profit and nonprofit entities who are recipients of local, state, and federal funds and require federal compliance audits. In addition to counseling clients, Winter also plays a key leadership role in BPM’s Alumni Network, Because Alumni Matter, strengthening the Firm’s relationship with its alumni.

Alexeev, Li and Winter become partners of BPM, effective November 1, 2018.
