On July 4, 2020 the President signed legislation extending the deadline for submitting applications for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The new deadline for businesses to file an application is Saturday, August 8, 2020. The Small Business Administration briefly stopped accepting loan applications on June 30, 2020 – the original deadline for PPP applications; however, the SBA resumed accepting applications July 6, 2020 at 9:00 AM EDT, in response to the Paycheck Protection Program Extension Act.
If you have not yet applied for a PPP loan, and are considering doing so under this extension, or if you have already applied and have other questions regarding the program, contact BPM’s Economic Recovery & Emergence Task Force members Terry Hill or Brett Hazlett.
