We are always looking for hard-working, sharp, dynamic students and recent grads to join the BPM community. Many of our most skilled individuals were hired right out of college and we greatly value their talent, spirit, and fresh thinking.
From Campus to Corporate
Transitioning from learning in academia to working in the corporate world can be a challenge without the backing of a company that is invested in your success.
We have many opportunities specifically for students still working toward a degree and for those who have recently entered the workforce. And we won’t just provide you with a job or internship. At BPM you’ll get the personal support and tools you need to learn the business, the value we bring to our clients, colleagues, and communities, and build your skills to take the next step in your career.
Be a BPM Intern
We offer several internships that give students the opportunity to get a feel for what it’s like to work in their chosen field. Our goal is to provide the same kind of hands-on training and meaningful work an entry-level employee would experience after joining the team. As a BPM intern, you can count on being challenged and engaged as you actively develop your skills through direct experience.
Every intern is assigned a buddy and mentor to help ease the transition into the corporate world, ensure they’re feeling the full impact of working with a firm that cares about its people, and keep them connected to both senior leadership and their peers.
- Audit Internship
This is a 9-week summer internship for students working toward earning a CPA license. You’ll work with multiple teams, clients, and industry groups, and complete assignments throughout your time with us.
- Tax Internship
BPM offers tax internships during the winter and summer. The winter internship is aimed at students in a master’s program who do not have classes during this time. The program begins in January and extends through the tax deadline in April, exposing interns to a wide variety of tax work.
Summer internships are for students actively pursuing a CPA license. They complete a 9-week program during which they will work with different teams on client projects, learning many different aspects of what it’s like in the tax industry.
- Outsourced Accounting Internship
This internship is for CPA-focused students who are not necessarily interested in only tax or audit careers, but want to work as business advisors. They join our Advisory practice and help provide accounting consulting to small, owner-run businesses. Bookkeeping, tax consulting, compilations, and review services are just a few areas Business Enterprise interns will have a chance to explore.
- IT Assurance Internship
This program is open to students actively pursuing their undergraduate degree in Information Systems (AIS / MIS) and CISA certification. This part-time internship is offered throughout the year with no deadline for applying. As an intern, you will work with BPM’s IT Assurance team, contributing to projects related to information security assessment, telework and remote access security, and SOC readiness.
- Advisory Internship
BPM’s Advisory internships offer students the ability to delve into a variety of specialties, including business valuation, ERP implementation, and transaction advisory. Interns work directly with our teams to learn the ins and outs of servicing clients in a consulting role.
