Jeff Dietrich

Jeff is a partner in our assurance practice and has 24 years of experience serving public and private clients in the aerospace and defense (A&D), engineering and construction, industrial manufacturing, retail, and consumer products industries. His clients have ranged from large, multinational public companies (Fortune 100+) to private businesses, across all phases of the business lifecycle.

Jeff has significant experience in SEC regulatory compliance, including capital markets transactions (including IPOs), financial reporting and related governance. He also has extensive knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance with expertise in adoption, including risk assessment and initial design and operating effectiveness reviews. He has led controls optimization and rationalization efforts, as well as remediation of control deficiencies, including significant deficiencies and material weaknesses.

Clients consistently value Jeff’s hands-on approach and commitment to staying ahead of challenges, ensuring no surprises and a rapid response when questions arise. He has successfully guided multiple Fortune 500 clients (in the A&D and retail industries) through major accounting standard adoptions, including ASC 606 and ASC 842, helping them navigate complex compliance requirements efficiently and effectively.

Prior to joining BPM, Jeff was a partner at a Big 4 accounting firm.
