Astrid Alvarez is a Manager in BPM’s Tax practice, bringing nearly two decades of combined experience in both private and public accounting. With a strong foundation in financial operations, Astrid specializes in providing comprehensive accounting and tax services to privately held companies and high-net-worth individuals.
Her ten years in private industry, followed by nine years in public accounting, have equipped her with a deep understanding of the full accounting cycle. Her expertise spans tax preparation and planning, IRS representation, financial statement preparation, audit compliance, outsourced accounting, and bookkeeping. Astrid has a particular focus on supporting high-net-worth clients and complex structures involving multiple flow-through entities.

Astrid earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she attended on a full scholarship. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Taxation degree at the University of Southern California.
