BPM receives 2025 MOVE Project’s Best CPA Firm for Women and Equity Leadership

November 6, 2025

BPM LLP, one of the 35 largest public accounting and advisory firms in the country, has once again earned national recognition from the Accounting MOVE Project as one of the Best CPA Firms for Women and one of the Best Firms for Equity Leadership for 2025.

The MOVE Project acknowledges BPM’s long-standing commitment to creating a culture of belonging and the advancement of women in the accounting profession. This work is driven by the Firm’s Inclusion Now! (IN!) program and Women’s Initiative Now! (WIN!) Colleague Resource Group (CRG), which embodies BPM’s dedication to its brand promise of Because People Matter

“We are honored to once again receive this acknowledgment, which recognizes our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where colleagues feel recognized, celebrated, and empowered,” says BPM CEO Jim Wallace. “At BPM, we believe embracing diverse perspectives drives innovation and success, and we remain committed to ensuring every colleague feels that they belong and has the opportunity to thrive and lead in a way that feels meaningful to them.”

Today, 33% of BPM’s executive leaders are women, and women make up 57% of the Firm’s total workforce. Notably, 40% of BPM’s newest partners are women, and over 65% of participants in its Next Gen and Inspire leadership development programs are women, underscoring the firm’s investment in cultivating future leaders.

Throughout this year, BPM’s WIN! CRG has advanced the firm’s commitment to belonging through a series of impactful programs and collaborations. From launching a Mentorship Meetup Program that fosters growth and connection to hosting a panel of newly promoted female partners who shared candid stories of perseverance. The WIN! CRG consistently creates space for learning and inspiration.

For this year’s lists, the Accounting MOVE Project identified the key factors that drive women’s career success in the accounting profession — Money, Opportunity, Vital Supports, and Entrepreneurship. This data-driven methodology forms the foundation of two distinctions awarded by the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA): Best CPA Firms for Women, recognizing firms that demonstrate both equitable advancement opportunities and meaningful representation of women in leadership, and Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership, honoring firms where women make up at least one-third of partners and principals — a benchmark for lasting cultural impact and inclusion.
