Craig Hamm named President of ACG San Francisco Chapter

August 12, 2025

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 12, 2025 – BPM LLP, one of the United States’ 35 largest public accounting and advisory firms, is proud to announce that Craig Hamm, Partner and Leader of BPM’s Transaction Advisory practice, as well as a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors, has been appointed President of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) San Francisco Chapter, effective August 1, 2025.

A long-standing and respected leader within BPM, Hamm brings decades of experience in financial due diligence, M&A advisory, and strategic leadership to his new role. He has served as a trusted advisor to venture capital and private equity firms, as well as a broad range of corporate clients — from emerging startups to Fortune 500 companies. His work centers on delivering value through quality of earnings analysis and managing buy- and sell-side M&A transactions across the lower and middle market.

I’m excited to help lead conversations and connections that drive growth,” said Hamm. “We’re seeing a renewed interest and appetite for M&A activity with our client base. This appointment represents more than just personal involvement — it highlights BPM’s continued commitment to the market, our clients, and the broader business community.

BPM has been a longtime sponsor of ACG San Francisco, reflecting its deep commitment to the region’s business and M&A community. Headquartered in San Francisco, BPM has consistently championed the middle market — not only in the Bay Area, but throughout California, including through its continued support of the ACG Los Angeles Chapter. The Firm’s enduring involvement underscores its dedication to growth-focused businesses navigating today’s complex deal landscape.

“We’re incredibly proud to see Craig take on this leadership role with ACG San Francisco,” said Jim Wallace, CEO of BPM. “His appointment reflects not only his personal commitment to the deal community, but also BPM’s broader mission to support and strengthen the middle market. We are well positioned to serve M&A activity both locally and in key markets across North America.”

Under Hamm’s leadership, the chapter aims to continue expanding its reach among investment bankers, private equity firms, corporate development leaders, and M&A professionals. As deal activity gains momentum following a period of macroeconomic uncertainty, BPM sees this as an opportunity to expand its impact and continue delivering value to the dealmaking community.
