Darlene Flores

Darlene is a Tax Manager in BPM’s Long Beach office and has nearly 15 years of public accounting experience. She performs month-end close services for clients, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and financial statements.

She typically serves businesses in the manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and the nonprofit industries. Darlene advises leaders in the areas of financial forecasting and planning, business and financial condition, budget creation and profitability improvement. She also provides tax preparation services to all clients.

In 2020, Darlene began working with clients to facilitate applications for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), as well as subsequent applications for PPP loan forgiveness.

Previously, she assisted a client in setting up internal controls related to inventory and conducting a year end inventory count. Darlene also helped a client with reconciliations and closing of their books, allowing the client to present their business to potential buyers.
