Our People

Alan Williford has over 10 years of experience as a transfer pricing specialist advising a range of clients on transfer pricing related matters. Alan has extensive experience with transfer pricing documentation requirements under U.S. and OECD regulations (including BEPS Action 13), intellectual property transactions, and helping clients understand the impact of regulatory changes, including country-specific updates and BEPS Actions.

Prior to joining BPM, Alan spent seven years with EY’s transfer pricing practice. His first five years were spent in the Washington, DC area, serving clients in the pharmaceutical, technology, manufacturing, and hospitality industries. Alan spent the next two years in EY’s San Jose office, building relationships with Bay Area clients, focusing on valuation, cost sharing, and global documentation projects which impact Bay Area clients. Through working on the East Coast and West Coast, Alan has gained an understanding of the transfer pricing needs for a wide range of clients across many industries.

Alan received his Master of Arts degree in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where he spent the first year of the program in Bologna, Italy and second year in Washington, DC. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and German from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
