Signs of a slowdown in hiring are surfacing just as senior talent is increasingly opening themselves to new employment possibilities.
“We’re providing the HR services for organizations, and I would say there is cautiousness in spending,” commented BPM Partner HR Consulting Partner Jill Pappenheimer.
While some of the largest employers in the Bay Area are experiencing layoffs and hiring freezes due to economic uncertainty, now could be a good time for some companies to capitalize on a strong pool of talent that wasn’t accessible over the pandemic.
