SSH Corporation and AIT Select Appian for Process Improvement

Business Process Management Leader Expands Southeast Asian Presence -

VIENNA, Va.—February 17, 2009—Appian, an innovative global provider of business process management (BPM) technology, today announced that Singapore-based SSH Corporation Ltd, one of Southeast Asia’s largest industrial material and welding products suppliers, has selected the Appian Enterprise BPM Suite to transform key operational processes. Initially, SSH will deploy Appian to streamline IT Helpdesk support processes to users across various groups, such as service requests, user account creation and incident reporting processes within the company’s IT department. The solution will be deployed by SSH’s local partner, Automatic Identification Technology Pte Ltd (AIT), in early March 2009. In addition, AIT has formed a strategic alliance with Appian to aggressively market Appian’s BPM technology in the region.

SSH services the oil and gas, petrochemical, marine sectors and related construction and heavy engineering industries. Its group operations span Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand and Vietnam.
