Dr. M.A. Ketabchi founded Savvion in 1994 and was the President and CEO of Savvion when it was acquired by Progress Software.  Under his leadership Savvion launched the first BPM product in the market in 1999 and built a strong customer base consisting of leading enterprises around the World.   Dr. Ketabchi is well known for his pioneering research in BPM technologies and methods; domain-oriented business solutions; object-oriented DBMS and application development technologies. He has published and presented extensively and made significant contributions to advancing the state of the art and technologies in BPM. Dr. Ketabchi received his Pd.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis
